Since March of 2018 there’s been talk of Facebook revising its ad targeting system. These changes come in response to the privacy concerns following the 2016 election, and most recently and most relevant to this new update – a lawsuit surrounding Facebook’s alleged violation of the Fair Housing Act.
Conversations focused initially in the housing market, but the finalized changes to Facebook Ad Manager pursue the company’s much larger objective to eliminate discrimination across the board.
